Hello! And welcome to official Autumn! For me that means lots of candle lit & scented evenings, cinnamon spice lattes and banana bread baking.
Autumn is also one of my favourite seasons to photograph as the aesthetics in nature are gorgeous with the hues of orange, yellow and red. Outfits can be layered and cozy with cute accessories such as scarfs, hats, gilets, faux fur to name a few!
I know dressing yourself and your family for a professional portrait session can be daunting, so I have popped together some tips for what to wear on an Autumn family session.
For Autumn shoots, think warm and earthy tones like Mustard, Rusty Orange, Burgundy, Navy, Plum to enhance your neutral colours and to compliment the outdoors. Remember don’t choose one color for the whole family - multiple colors will add dimension to your images. Outfits should complement each other, not match each other.
